A full design project will have four phases:

Consultation:

The consultation phase is the time where Ashley will try to understand the needs and goals of her clients. Ashley explains, "We’ll meet in your space and start building a relationship. I’ll ask you about your tastes and needs, about the room’s function, your likes and dislikes, and everything else I need to match a design to your life."

Research:

After the consultation phase, Ashley will utilize her connections with vendors throughout the country to determine the best fit for you. "The research phase is a very important and time intensive stage of the process. My goal is to obtain the perfect combination of form and function to exceed the customer's demands,” she says. Most importantly, Ashley does not believe geography should limit her client's ability to obtain the best possible design for their home: "Whether it is local merchandisers, the Atlanta market or Vegas vendors, I do not think you should be limited to the best product in the local area - you should be able to get the best your money can buy regardless of where it may be located."

Presentation:

After the consultation and research phase, Ashley will present her findings with you in a presentation. "When I present my ideas to you, I make every effort to be all encompassing, helping you to visualize each aspect of the end product, including design concept, color, textures, finishes, and furnishings. I like to walk my clients through the decisions we make, sharing with them my experience and the artistic background to understand why I recommend one idea over another." Throughout the process, Ashley will work with you to make sure you are entirely satisfied, even if it means scratching initial plans or providing numerous presentations.

Project Coordination & Management:

Once you are confident with the project Ashley has designed for you, the next step is project coordination and management. "By no means does my service end at the design phase" she says. "I am a hands-on project manager, and I will coordinate the purchase, delivery, and installation of the entire project. My role is to minimize your stress and ensure the smoothest transition possible to your recreated space." Simply stated, "In the end, I want my design to be distinctly and uniquely yours."
